Robert Pattinson on playing gay and his music

He played the character of Salvador Dali in the movie Little Ashes, For this role Pattinson had to do some gay sex scenes.

Speaking to The Sydney Morning Herald Pattinson has said

“I had to do all these hardcore gay sex scenes, when I haven’t even had a sex scene with a girl in a film yet,”

“I’m lining up so many different films so it’ll be harder to just label me the vampire guy.”

Pattinson has revealed that before landing the part of Edward Cullen he had considered quitting the film industry to work on his music as he feels that music is second nature to him, and we should think so as well seeing as he has been playing since he was five years old.

“With acting, a lot of the time you’re doing scenes you don’t really relate to and you don’t really know why you’re being cast half the time,” . ”

Pattinson has two songs that are on the Twilight soundtrack. “Let Me Sign” and “Never Think”

. “When the first film came out I felt like a complete tosser, It looked like I was trying to be cool or something, like Eminem. You know, be in a movie and then do a song for the soundtrack. But I didn’t look cool, I just looked ridiculous.”

Robert Pattinson insists it isn’t only women who ask for his autograph — men do, too!

The British actor — who shot to fame playing vampire Edward Cullen in Twilight – says that more and more male fans have started to approach him.

“There’s a few male Twilight fans… more and more guys ask me for autographs in fact,” Pattinson said. “Unless they’re only doing it to sell them on eBay!”

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Rob — who is in Vancouver, Canada, to film Eclipse — the third Twi flick — has become a “prisoner” of the paparazzi.

“Every time anyone from the cast emerges from the hotel they’re swarmed by paparazzi,” revealed a Twilight insider.

“He’s a prisoner of the paparazzi. It’s a nightmare. He almost never leaves the hotel except to go to the set. And when he does, the crew has to go great lengths to find ways to transport him from one location to another undetected.

“Because of the paparazzi, Rob has been unable to interact with his many fans.”

Robert Pattinson Throwing darts at himself?

While most budding stars would give an arm to see their face on the cover of a magazine, English lad Robert Pattinson is sick and tired of facing himself on the tops of tabloids.

The 23-year-old Twilight star is furiously fed up with media speculation over his rumored romance with Kristen Stewart.

To make his point he tore off a cover from a magazine and pinned it to his trailer wall – Not for motivation or vain, but for target practice.

Pattinson invited his co-stars to come toss a few darts along with him.

As reported by Zimbio, a source of the set of The Twilight Saga: New Moon gabbed to the National Enquirer about the dart party.

“Robert got a magazine cover with a picture of his face on it and pinned it to a dartboard that was in his trailer,” the source revealed.

“He took shots at it and asked everyone else to do the same.”

Despite Star Magazine’s report about Pattinson’s dart episode, reports from Gossip Cop countered the story saying their sources said it wasn’t true.

“Pattinson does NOT throw darts at his own picture,” writes the Gossip Cop page. “When asked about this rumored hobby of ‘skewering himself’ in his trailer, one source replied that Pattinson has a great sense of humor and may have joked about it.”

Whether the rumors are on target or not, it’s stayed true that Robert’s fame has been a bit overwhelming for the star.

Robert Pattinson denies single quotes

Robert Pattinson has fired back at tabloid reports he’s single and looking for love, insisting he never spoke to the newspaper that quoted him, femalefirst.co.uk reports.

Britain’s The Mirror quoted Pattinson as stating, “I don’t have a girlfriend. I don’t know why. You always think you’re going to get more girls after you’ve made a movie and it never happens.”

But he insists he never spoke to the tabloid. His publicist said, “Robert did not speak to the Mirror, and their claim that they spoke to him a few days ago is manufactured along with any information that they claim to have as an exclusive directly from him.”

The actor has constantly denied reports he is secretly dating Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart.

He is well aware of his heady looks and how they can set the female heart aflutter, across all age groups!

“Most of the girls are all pretty young so it’s just kind of funny. But then you get the Twilight Mums who love you like mums! And you can take that too far. I mean, it could be ‘Edward breaks up Twilight family.'”

Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are planning to move in together, it has been claimed. Australia’s NW magazine says they will find a love nest in Los Angeles after filming is wrapped on Eclipse, the third movie in the Twilight series.
